South African singer, Kwaito celebrity Sipho Ndlovu, additionally referred to as ‘Brickz’, has been found guilty of rape inside the Roodepoort Magistrates court. The decision was made on Friday afternoon following a three years courtroom case
he will remain in custody until sentencing later in July. Ndlovu raped a 16 year old girl in 2013 at his home in Ruimsig, west of Johannesburg. It’s understood his wife Nqobile Ndlovu assisted the victim in opening the cases against her husband.
National Prosecuting Authority spokesperson Luvuyo Mfaku said, “Mr Ndlovu was convicted of rape. After the conviction, the R50,000 bail that he was released on became revoked, as a result he’s in custody.” Ndlovu turned into arrested and charged on 1 November 2014 and have been out on R50,000 bail ever since.
