Nigerian man and four Americans charged with online solicitations of minors

A Nigerian man and four Americans charged with second degree felony for online solicitations of minors. Nigerian American, Seyi Muyiwa Adeeko, 30, was arrested with four people by the Texas Department of Public Safety special agents. The four other people involved are Odessa Shrey Dineshbhai Bhakta, 22; Midlander Michael Soper, 44; Daryl Quay Hampton, 25, and Douglas Lee Smith, 28. On Saturday, after an online undercover investigation was made, five of these men were caught. The aim of the investigation was to identify and incarcerate sexual predators soliciting minors online. All five people involved were arrested and booked into Midland County Jail.

Midlander, Seyi and Douglas are held on bail for $125,000 while Daryl and Odessans are not held.
Investigations were carried by DPS, Midland County District Attorney’s Office, Homeland Security Investigations, FBI, Odessa Police Department and U.S. Attorney’s Office Western District of Texas.

  1. Say what you want but this breaks my heart, I personally know seyi, other than this issue, he is a good person and father. Too often men get caught up, and I don’t think he’s a bad man, just made a mistake. ?
